I try to capture light, atmosphere and movement in my paintings. Colour is important to me and my favourite mediums are watercolour, pastel and graphite pencil. I always use artists' quality materials.
My subjects vary from landscapes and seascapes to flowers and children - with anything in between.
I have won several awards and have had paintings exhibited in the Mall galleries. I recently went up to the House of Lords to accept an award from the Countess of Marr. My paintings have been used by national card companies.
I have recently been producing graphite pencil drawings and these have proved extremely popular. They have already been sold in galleries in Yorkshire and also hang in galleries in Derbyshire and Cornwall.
I am a member of the Birmingham Watercolour Society and The Wildife Art Society International. I went to the House of Lords to receive an award for one of my paintings.
