I grew up in a seaside town in the South of England, which stimulated my love of seascapes.
From a young age art and crafts appealed to me, and this interest continued through school and college where I was inspired to try new techniques. I have also been fascinated by the study of people, the mind and behaviour and decided to read Psychology at University to gain a better understanding of this area.
Influenced by my background, I take pleasure in creating scenes of a calming nature. I believe that promoting wellbeing in all aspects of life is important. Everyone should be able to take time and relax, so I try to arouse a feeling of tranquillity in my pieces.
