| Look closely and you will discover that Sue's sculptures have not been painted at all, but have been finished with a 'skin' of coloured papers. These small pieces of colour have been gleaned from hundreds of magazines and make each piece unique.
'Although still sculpting wildlife, more commissions are coming through for domestic animals and I'm finding them a joy to work on, especially the dog breeds. It is always a thrill when I'm asked to sculpt a species or breed that I've never created before. Each creature is unique, even a commission of the same animal will never be exactly the same and they always make me smile. I hope they make you smile too.'
Sue is a member of the Marwell International Wildlife Artists Society and regularly sells her work at their annual August exhibition.
