The artistic journey of painter nearly always chooses the centrality of the female figure painted on a particular background (obtained with special textures and placement in space of the canvas pieces of paper, pieces of posters, newspaper clippings, glossy pages of magazines and comic strips) that make the art experience and art pictorial advertising. A delighted contamination of different languages, which produces a new code language through which Leonardo Vecchiarino, succeeds in expressing the contradictions, expectations, anxieties, social change, even in other media more direct, fast and aggressive (photos, TV, radio, internet, etc..).
What emerges from the canvas of Leonardo Vecchiarino is proof that contemporary art is still able to offer the eye of the viewer visually exciting performances and enjoyable and at the same time become a means of analysis of modern society. A new "humanism", therefore, that, placing ourselves in front of images, colors and signs of maximum tension, charm and modernity, opens new glimpses to human values and social and proves to be a model of art in step with the times.
