The lady appears content as she paints her nails and relaxes with a tea. I portrayed her as my aunt Nora who on occasion would grace us in all her finery from distant London. Aunt Nora had an unhappy marriage but once free from her shackles lived life to the full. I secretly named her aunt Sally, a character full of colour from a television show who likewise reminded me of a china doll.
Ready to hang, painted on quality canvas board mounted on mitred frame finished in white, protected in quality artists soft sheen varnish to avoid the glare of indoor lighting. |
