  Currently reserved pending sale.Original acrylic painting on box canvas, measuring 24 x 24 inches (60cm x 60cm) and approx 2 inches depth (43mm). Framing not required. In early summer, lots of delicate golden-yellow and orange poppies appear. The flowers here have shadows cast upon them by neighbouring plants that are not in view. I have focused on the flat patterns of light and dark thus created, giving a slightly graphic look to the painting. Some light texture-gel has been added to the petals, for extra body and the whole group set on a hot summery red background. Price includes delivery.
