This beautiful, flowing depiction of a swan is created with acrylic & mixed media. There is a unique entaille (cut in paper/canvas), developed by Jean, which gives dimension to the work.
This piece depicts Zeus, disguising himself as a swan, to seduce the beautiful Leda. Following the coupling, Leda is reputed to have laid 2 eggs, from which children were hatched.
